These yogurt waffles are a deliciously simple breakfast treat, made with creamy Yoplait yogurt and a touch of honey for sweetness. Fluffy and easy to prepare, they’re perfect for a quick morning meal or a special weekend brunch. Top them with your favorite fruit or syrup!
Ingredient List
- 1 cup Yoplait Original Vanilla single-serve yogurt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all‑purpose flour
- 1¾ cup milk
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1½ tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
Optional
- Cooking oil or butter
Preparation
- Preheat your waffle iron, so it’s ready to go!
- In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, eggs, milk and honey until smooth.
- Gently fold in the baking powder, salt and flour. Stir until combined but be careful not to overmix – the batter should be thick but smooth.
- Lightly grease the waffle iron with oil or butter. Pour your first waffle into the iron and cook until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes per waffle.
- Serve hot with your choice of toppings!
Tips
- Any leftover batter can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
- If the batter feels too thick, add a little more milk (a tablespoon at a time).
- For extra fluffiness, let the batter sit for a few minutes before cooking. This gives the baking powder more time to activate.
- Top your waffles with fresh fruit, whipped cream or a drizzle of nut butter for added flavor. For a savory option, try avocado or scrambled eggs.
- You can prepare the batter ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Just give it a quick stir before using.
