Yogurt Oatmeal Recipe

This Yoplait yogurt oatmeal is a quick, creamy, and nutritious breakfast that combines hearty oats with smooth yogurt for a satisfying start to the day. Packed with protein and flavor, it’s easily customised with your favorite fruits, nuts, or sweeteners.

Ingredient List

  • 1 cup Yoplait Original single-serve yogurt (any flavor)
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (or water)
  • Pinch of salt

Optional

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Fresh fruit or nuts, for topping

Preparation

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the oats, milk and a pinch of salt.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer.
  3. Stir occasionally until the oats are soft and the liquid is absorbed, around 5-8 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the yogurt until combined.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and top with fresh fruit or nuts. Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the top for sweetness.

Tips

  • Swap Yoplait Original for Yoplait Protein for a protein boost.
  • If your oatmeal is too thick, add a bit more milk or water while cooking. If it’s too runny, cook a little longer to absorb excess liquid.
  • For a flavor boost, try adding cinnamon, nutmeg or vanilla extract while cooking the oats.
  • Try adding in chia seeds for extra nutrients (they’re a great source of fibre) and texture.
