No. It's important to send in only pink lids. They're the only lids included in the Save Lids to Save Lives program donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Nearly all adult Yoplait products participate in Save Lids to Save Lives. All Yoplait yogurt packaged in either 4 or 6 oz. cups will feature a pink lid during the collection period. This includes cups in Multi-packs and Fridge Packs. It also includes Yoplait beverage products. However, the large size Yoplait Grande® tubs do not contain pink lids and Yoplait Kids® products do not participate in the Save Lids to Save Lives program.

You'll find pink lids on all flavors of 4 and 6 oz. adult Yoplait cup products as well as on all Yoplait Beverage products. This includes yogurt cups in the Yoplait Fridge Pack®. But, the lids are only available during the Save Lids to Save Lives collection period. You won't find pink lids on any Yoplait Kid products.

Yes, Yoplait Smoothie products are part of the Save Lids to Save Lives program. But don't send us the plastic cap. Underneath the cap, you'll find a pink foil safety lid. Peel it back, wash it, and send us just the lid.

The packaging you decide to use will depend on the number of lids you have collected. Try to use an envelope or box large enough to hold the lids without their being damaged during shipment. But you shouldn't need to use a padded envelope.

No. We're sorry, we can't accept lids after the end of the program. But please check back to see when we'll begin our Fall 2008 lid collection drive. In the meantime, it would be great if you wanted to make a donation equal to the value of the lids you collected. Contact a local affiliate of Susan G. No. Unfortunately, we can't accept lids in later program periods. But watch for the next program period so you can start saving new lids. And, as always, you can contact your local Komen Affiliate about other ways you can help in the meantime.

Flattening the lids isn't a requirement, but doing so will make it easier to get them into an envelope (and will be less hassle for the U.S. Postal Service).

Check on the pink lid itself for key collection dates. Unfortunately, if the yogurt is being sold after the collection period has passed, you will not be able to submit the lids. The donation amount is based on lids collected before the date indicated on the lid.
